Brief History
Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) was established in 1978 but was incorporated on the 12th day of December, 1983 with the Certificate of Incorporation No. 2686 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Association is made up of all the Independent Petroleum Marketers loading at the NNPC Depots across the nation.
A member of this Association must have a Petroleum Filling Station licensed by the Federal Government through the issuance of storage license from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources as well as possession of Bulk Purchase Agreement (Lifting Right) with PPMC.
IPMAN Ibadan Depot
The real organizational structure came into being during the tenure of Mr. Tunji Adeniji in the year 1998.
Ibadan Depot Branch of IPMAN includes all Independent Marketers in Oyo and Osun States and extends its coverage to parts of Kwara, Ogun, Ekiti and Ondo States.
